Symbiosis 3.0
Evolution Camp
3 days that change how you see yourself and how the world sees you
You've been designing for years. You have the portfolio, the reputation, the track record. Yet something is shifting. AI is doing what you used to do. Clients are asking questions you weren't trained to answer. And deep down, you know: being a "better designer" is no longer enough.
This camp is not about teaching you to design better.
It is about helping you become someone new.
What We Do
We gather a group of designers, not to lecture, but to work. You bring your real challenges. We use them as the material. Together, we look at what's been hiding in plain sight: the misaligned goals that drain energy, the conversations no one has, the invisible friction between you and your clients, between you and your own potential.
Through guided dialogue and structured reflection, we help you see what you cannot see on your own. Not theory. Not role-play. Your actual dilemmas. Your real team. Your path forward.
What You Walk Away With
-
Clarity on what's really been holding you back
-
A new language to speak with clients, not just about design, but about value
-
A team that finally pulls together, not apart
-
A clear next step, not a long list, but one thing you know you must do
Why Now
AI is not coming for your craft. It is coming for the old version of you, the one who only executes, only draws, only follows. The designers who thrive will not be the ones who draw faster. They will be the ones who can see what the client isn't saying, align a team around a shared purpose, and turn friction into flow.
This camp is where you become that designer.
What You Will Experience
3 days. Group of 30. Real challenges.
No lectures. No slides. Just deep dialogue, honest reflection, and the space to think differently. You will leave not with notes, but with a felt sense of where to go next, and a team that's ready to go with you.
The Only Risk
The market is changing. AI is accelerating. The old way of working is fading. The only real risk is staying the same.
If you're ready to evolve, not just upskill. Let's Talk.

What Is
Symbiosis 3.0?
Symbiosis 3.0 is not an ideal. It is a replicable collaborative system. It answers one question: when AI begins to replace execution, and when clients no longer pay merely for “beauty,” how can clients and designers still work together?
Design 1.0 | Transactional Gaming · 1990s–2000s
Modern interior design education in China began in 1957 with the founding of the Interior Decoration Department at the Central Academy of Arts and Design. But the industry truly took off after the reform and opening-up. Through the 1990s, as the economy grew rapidly, most art institutions across the country launched interior design programs. This was an era of imitation. Designers copied foreign works. Access to information was limited. The industry understood design as “decoration” or “artistic rendering.”
Client requirements were vague. As long as the designer could produce something “visually appealing,” the proposal passed. Approvals were based on personal taste, relationships, and hidden interests. The needs of end-users were marginalized. Design fees were treated as costs. Contracts were loosely defined.
Design 2.0 | Value Tug-of-War · 2000s–2020s
With the rise of commercial markets and the spread of the internet, China‘s design industry entered a period of rapid expansion. International designers entered the market. Design moved from imitation toward innovation, with some projects reaching world-class standards. Over a little more than a decade, the number of designers grew exponentially.
Clients began to value design quality. Designers developed a sense of authorship. But the two sides remained locked in a tug-of-war between “you don’t get it” and “you don’t get me.” Approvals were no longer unilateral. They required grinding, multi-layered internal negotiation.
In the mid-to-late 2020s, the economy slowed. Real estate entered a deep adjustment. By 2024, the number of real estate practitioners had fallen 42.6% from its 2019 peak. Traditional development projects shrank. Low-price competition and collection difficulties intensified. Clients and designers became bound by stricter contracts. The friction escalated. Both sides grew exhausted. The design won, but the relationship dissolved. The project succeeded, but trust eroded.
Symbiosis 3.0 | Value Symbiosis · mid-2020s – Future
The design industry is undergoing a transformative shift - from “user experience” to “systemic ecosystem.” In the Design 3.0 era, the designer‘s value moves from “creative lead” to “ecological catalyst.” The new core competencies are systems thinking, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and critical design.
AI is reshaping the boundaries of design. In 2025, the global AI design tool market reached 11.8 billion yuan and is projected to grow to 18.09 billion yuan by 2032. Approximately 58% of creative professionals already use AI in their work. “Beauty” is no longer the exclusive domain of designers. AI raises the floor of efficiency, but it cannot replace three core human capabilities: aesthetic judgment, contextual understanding, and value anchoring.
At the same time, clients are investing more cautiously. Design fees are under pressure. Investments need to generate a unique and sustainable direction. Designers must become co-creators with their clients, bringing creativity to the table from a commercial perspective. This is not a choice. It is a necessity.
Symbiosis 3.0 is a triple-win closed loop:
-
For the client: design is not a cost. It is an investment.
-
For the designer: not an adversary, but a partner who hasn‘t yet aligned.
-
For the end-user: the beneficiary of what both sides create together.
I propose Symbiosis 3.0 because I have seen too much talent wasted in friction, spinning endlessly inside a narrow track, with no one getting the return they deserved. Symbiosis 3.0 is not an ideal. It infuses what AI cannot touch - a sense of field, human warmth, and the power of inquiry into existing design and business resources. It turns mutual depletion into mutual achievement.

DAY 1: ALIGN
SEE WHAT'S REALLY IN THE WAY
You and your clients speak different languages. You say "design." They say "budget." You talk about beauty. They talk about risk. The gap between you is not a lack of talent. It is a lack of alignment.
On this day, we surface what's hidden. The unspoken fears. The mismatched expectations. The patterns that keep you in the old game of gambling. By the end, you will see your client's world as clearly as you see your own, and you will know how to meet them there.
DAY 2: Create
FROM GAMBLING TO SYMBIOSIS
When alignment is clear, creation becomes possible. But not the old kind where you give, they take, and both sides feel drained. This is co-creation. You will learn to lead your client into a space where ideas are not defended, but developed together. Where the best solution is not yours or theirs but something neither of you could have seen alone.
This is not about compromise. It is about something new emerging. This is where friction turns into flow.
DAY 3: COMMIT
MAKE IT STICK
Insight without action is just inspiration. Action without structure is just effort. On this day, you build the bridge from what you learned to how you work. You leave with a clear next step, not just for yourself, but for your team, your projects, and your clients.
More than that, you begin to embed a new way of working into your culture. A way where alignment is not a meeting you run, but a rhythm you live. Where collaboration becomes not a drain, but a source of energy.
TARGET AUDIENCE
ARE THOSE WHO....
Seek to replace hidden friction with clarity and cohesion in their organization.
Lead teams but face misalignment, slow decisions, or collaboration breakdowns.
Want to elevate team capability not through more tools, but through smarter interaction.
Are ready to shift from talking about problems to architecting systems that prevent them.
Value peer learning among leaders committed to building resilient, adaptive teams.

Are These Hidden Costs Quietly
Draining Your Organisation?
-
Meetings that go nowhere
-
Rework from expectations that no one clarified
-
Good ideas that die somewhere between "yes" and "done"
-
Teams are working hard, but not together
-
Departments that don't talk to each other
-
People are waiting for permission instead of owning the work
-
Opportunities lost while decisions circled
-
Talented people are leaving not for more money, but because they're tired
…and the list goes on.
These are not small problems.
They are invisible drains, leaking energy, momentum, and potential you didn't even know you had.

Our Commitment
1. On Your Investment
This is not an expense. It’s an investment in yourself.
All investments carry risk. We minimize that risk together:
-
If you cancel 30 days or more before the program starts, your full fee can be transferred to any program within the next 12 months.
-
If you cancel at least 48 hours before the start, your fee is credited toward future programs (valid for 12 months).
-
If you “no-show” or cancel at the last minute, the credit cannot be held. We have reserved your seat, prepared materials, and committed our time for you.
There is no “no refund” wall. Only a door that holds your value for you.
2. On Our Dialogue
Coaching works when we both speak the truth.
-
I will be 100% transparent with you - what I see, what I sense, where I think you’re stuck - I will say it.
-
I invite you to do the same. Don’t be afraid to say: “I don’t know,” “I’m scared,” “I’m not sure.”
-
If you email me, I will reply within 24 hours (usually sooner).
-
If words on a page don’t work, I will offer an extra conversation with you. No charge.
This is safe honesty. Not comfortable politeness.
3. On Your Action
Coaching is not “listening to a lecture.” It’s “taking action while being seen.”
-
Be on time. Be prepared.
-
I will be fully prepared - your background, your goal, what you said last time.
-
Come with action. Even a small step. Even an attempt. Even a failure. Failure is our best textbook.
-
I will give you real feedback. No fluff. No pleasing. No avoidance.
You are not alone. I will walk with you. But you must walk the path.
One last thing
This is not a legal contract. This is our working covenant.
You commit. I commit.
You invest. I invest.
If you don’t feel the value, we talk.
If it’s not right, we stop.
No drama. Only mutual respect.
