From 20 People Down to Just 3: “We Can’t Go Back,” He Said. Two Hours Later, He Smiled.

从20人到3人,他说“回不去了”。两小时后,他笑了。

 

 

一个承建商的老板坐在对面,叹气。

“全盛时候20多人,现在只剩3个。我们很努力,但回不到当年了。”

我没接“怎么办”。

“一年后你成功了,”我看着他的眼睛,“你看到了什么?”

他沉默了几秒。

“看不到什么。经济不好,项目也少了,能做什么……”

“你在实现一个不可能的未来,”我说,“你连想也不敢。”

他愣了一下。深呼吸。

接下来两个小时,我们一点一点地,把那幅“不可能”的未来画了出来。

最后,他把下一步行动写下来了。

他笑了,不是苦笑,是真的笑。

“确实,我看到一个很诱惑的未来。”

A construction company owner sat across from me and sighed.

“Back in our glory days, we had over 20 people. Now we’re down to just 3. We’ve been working so hard, but we just can’t get back to where we were.”

I didn’t ask, “So what should we do?”

Instead, I looked him in the eyes and said, “One year from now, when you’ve succeeded, what do you see?”

He fell silent for a few seconds.

“I don’t see anything. The economy is bad, there are fewer projects… what can we even do?”

“You’re trying to achieve an impossible future,” I said, “and you don’t even dare to imagine it.”

He paused, then took a deep breath.

Over the next two hours, we slowly painted that “impossible” future together, stroke by stroke.

In the end, he wrote down his next actions.

He smiled - not a bitter smile, but a real one.

“Indeed… I can see a very attractive future now.”
