Running out of funds and no direction? What you're missing isn't money, it's turning the problem around.
资金不足没方向?缺的不是钱,是没把问题反过来看。
一位开发商老板来找我,聊了两小时。
他说:“资金不足,有想法但没方向。下一步怎么走?”
我没给他答案。
我反问他:“如果这个项目半年后没做成,你认为会是哪三个原因?”
他愣住了。
然后慢慢说出了三个理由:缺乏明确的发展方向、施工方不配合、团队精力被其他项目分散。
我说:“好。那我们把这三个原因反过来,就是你接下来要攻的三个挑战 - 你要做什么才能有方向?你要做什么才能让合作方配合你?你要做什么才能把精力聚焦在真正重要的事上?”
那天,我们没有聊“怎么找钱”。我们一起定下了三个方向、三条马上能开始的动作。
一年后,他发消息给我:项目落成了,没超预算,还引起了市场关注。
他说:“你当年没教我怎么做项目。你只问了一个问题,让我自己想清楚了。”

A real estate developer came to see me. We talked for two hours.
He said, "I have ideas, but no direction. Funding is tight. What's my next move?"
I didn't give him the answer.
Instead, I asked him: "If this project fails six months from now, what would be the three reasons?"
He paused.
Then slowly, he named three: lack of clear direction, uncooperative contractors, and his team's energy being drained by other projects.
I said, "Good. Now let's reverse those three - those become your three challenges. What do you need to do to gain direction? What do you need to do to get your contractors on board? What do you need to do to focus your energy on what truly matters?"
That day, we didn't talk about "how to raise money." Together, we defined three directions and three actions he could start immediately.
One year later, he messaged me: the project was completed, under budget, and had caught the market's attention.
He said, "You didn't teach me how to run the project. You just asked one question and made me figure it out myself."
