His personal sales are strong, but his team struggles every day. I asked him one question, and he lowered his head and stayed silent for two minutes.

他个人销售很强,团队却天天纠结。我问了一个问题,他低头沉默了两分钟。

一位国际企业的营销总监,个人销售能力很强,专业知识丰富。但销售团队内部冲突不断,他疲于救火。

我陪跑了三个月。第一次对话,聊了两小时。

我说:“你很清楚团队在做什么。那你知道他们做不到什么吗?”

他低头,沉默。

整整两分钟。咖啡厅里只有他深呼吸的声音。

然后他说:“……不知道。”

我又问:“那下一步是什么?”

他没回答。但那天我们没再谈“团队为什么吵架”。我们开始做一件事:演练怎么授权 - 什么时候放手、什么时候过问、什么时候只问不答,什么时候赋能。

三个月后他告诉我:团队还偶有在吵,但他不慌了。他说:“以前我觉得什么事都要我来。现在我知道,有些事,他们自己能搞定。”

明年的销售目标更高了。他说他准备好了。

Next year‘s sales target is higher. He said he’s ready.
